Welcome to the Outdoor Learning Hub, a space created to inspire K-3 educators to bring learning beyond the walls of the classroom. Here, you’ll find ideas, lessons, and reflections that celebrate curiosity, connection, and the joy of exploring outdoors.

Outdoor learning invites students to engage their senses, move their bodies, and connect meaningfully with the world around them. It’s not about adding more to our busy days but about reimagining how learning can happen anywhere like in a school garden, under a tree, or on a walk around the neighbourhood.

This hub grew from my capstone project for the Professional Master of Education program at Queen’s University. My goal was to create a resource that is both practical and reflective, supporting educators who want to nurture their students’ sense of wonder, stewardship, and belonging through outdoor experiences.
